rate limiting for uploads using Paperform

I'm using Paperform to collect data and images / assets and want to automate transfer of them to Dropbox

Is there a fix / way to get around the Dropbox  rate limiting for uploads? Not all of the images on the input boxes of the form are getting through

Has anyone else encountered thsi problem? If so is there a fix or an alternator ernative to Dropbox that may be viable? G-Drive?

Paperform themsleves dont seem to know

thanks in advance

Matt

Hi there LL_Matt, sorry to her you're having issues with this.

Can you please clarify how you've got this set up in the first place and at what point of the process you're getting errors?

Any additional information or screenshots are more than welcome!

I've set up a form on paperform (which has multiple image/ video upload fields) and have automated a process by which it connects to my dropbox and transfers the media to specific drop box folders depening on the question

I had 10 image upload questions and boxes, and uploaded a set amount of images to each (some up to six images per box) Allreceived at least one image

The uploads that were over 3 images (for example 6 images) only had a few being transferred

Do you know why this is ? or how I can fix it?

    Thanks

    Matt

Hi LL_Matt, sorry to jump in here!

Do you use an API to achieve that, or is it an automated process on Paperform's end?

I have to admit that it sounds like an issue on their end most likely.

No, I'm not directly sending API requests to Dropbox, so I would say no

Paperform's Dropbox direct integration is an automated process developed in-house using the official Dropbox SDK

So I would say this is an issue at the Dropbox end

Can you help me solve it?

    Thanks

    Matt

Because you're using a third-party app that uses the Dropbox API, you would need to contact the developer of the app for assistance and they can reach out to Developer Support if needed. If there's an issue between the app and Dropbox, it would be up to the developer of the app to resolve.

Hey Matt, I'm having the same issue and Dropbox have said to go back to paperform. So frustrating. Did you find a solution by any chance?
