Did you install Dropbox yourself, or did you do it through the app that's pre-installed on the laptop? You need to use the app that's pre-installed.

Have you then completed the Getting Started guides: www.dropbox.com/gs ?
- HunterbyDesign4 years agoExplorer | Level 3No, I had an account already which I signed into after install. I’ve not owned a HP before so couldn’t have done this promotion previously too

Regardless of having an account or not a term of the promotion is that you must complete www.dropbox.com/gs
- HunterbyDesign4 years agoExplorer | Level 3Ok thanks Mark, I’ll have a go at that now.

Hey HunterbyDesign, sorry to jump in here, but would it be OK if we reach out via email to have a further look internally?

I recently bought a new hp desktop and bought my son an HP laptop. Both should be eligible for the one-year of 100 GB Dropbox storage. When I signed into my account, there wasn't the additional storage space. Please email me to assist with completing the process for the increased storage, which will help me transfer my files from my old PC to the new one.
