I tried to cancel my trial but I was charged
hello. My free trial ends on May 28, 2024, and I tried to cancel the payment but it didn't work, so I was charged. I currently have an essentials annual plan paid for, and I want to change to a Plus monthly plan. I haven't used dropbox since the time I was charged, so I would appreciate if you could refund me and charge me again.

You can try asking Support, but subscriptions are typically non-refundable unless required by law (e.g. the UK's cooling-off law).

I have a 1 year subscription and I only had 3 days and I didn't even use those 3 days. I think it's unfair that I can't get a refund. As far as I know, there is a rule that you can get a refund within 2 weeks. I'm a student and this is a lot of money for me. I would really appreciate a refund.

Hi joohong, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As this is related to sensitive billing info, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.
You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link, choose 'Other' and then put in an email address that you can access, followed by your billing info.
Keep me posted.
