Opening my newly purchased account

So irritated!!!!! I purchased a Plus plan last night, not realizing that I already had a free 2GB account. When I received the link to sign in to my new account I was offered the option of signing in using my Google account. Unfortunately I clicked on that and was taken to my original account.  Since then I have not been able to access the newly purchased Plus account.  I deleted the old account, but now, when I sign in using my email address I am taken to a free 2GB account and given the option to upgrade to Plus for another $119.88.  I already paid that and it has been charged on my credit card.  I just want to get what I paid for.  Dropbox will not allow me to speak to an actual person, nor can I reach their email support teams.  They have my money, I have no Dropbox account

Hi hbhaney, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Did you upgrade on the Dropbox site directly, or via the mobile app?

According to your card statement, were you charged by Dropbox, iTunes or Google Play?

This will help me to assist further!

I did not upgrade my account; it was an old account from 2014-17 that I forgot I had.  I purchased a Plus account online from Dropbox.  After purchasing I received a link to sign in to my new account.  As stated above that link offered me the option of using my Google account to sign in so without wondering why it would do that, I clicked on that and it all went downhill from there.

Hey hbhaney, sorry to jump in here, but since you purchased your subscription from our website directly, could you try using our self serve look up tool to identify the email address that's associated with the charge for your upgrade?

Let us know if this helps!

This is exactly what has happened to me.  I upgraded to 2000 GB but when I click the Drop Box Tab I get my original smaller account. Did you ever find a solution to this problem

I had a chat that just went in circles.
