Transferring a Dropbox account to another user due to a mistake.

Hello, I renewed my annual subscription to Dropbox with the username - [removed], instead of my permanent account for Dropbox - [removed].
I would be happy to transfer the subscription I purchased to my regular user.
Please respond soon.

    It's not possible to transfer a subscription from one account to another. Your best option is to swap the email addresses on the accounts (using a third email address as a place holder). You could also try contacting support and request a refund so you could then re-subscribe under the correct account, but refunds are not typically given.

    Hi,

    I thought I was upgrading my free account but inadverte

    ntly set up a new account which I dont want.

    How do I transfer the storage to my original account please?

    I have had no luck contacting Dropbox direct.

    There's no way to transfer storage or a subscription from one account to another. You'll need to move your data from your old account into the new account, and you can swap the email addresses on the accounts using a third email address (use the team member instructions found here).
