Not receiving 6 digit verification code
I have been trying to access my dropbox account for the past month and have not received any 6 digit access code emails or any password reset emails, or for that matter any emails from Dropbox. I pay a monthly subscription fee so I don't think my account has been shut down as I have seen in other threads. I NEED these files!
Hey Jay,
I had previously added the no-reply@dropbox.com email to my contacts and that did not solve the problem. I was able to pull out my old computer, thankfully, and the code was being sent as a notification and not as an email. So I am in now but if I had not been able to resurrect my computer from the dead things would still be a problem!

Thanks for the ticket number, lityum! Did you also add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts, and checked the notifications on any linked devices?

I have for a long time an account and i have never activate the two step verification. Now I am trying to log in and i have problem because I have to write down an extra 6-digit code but nothing comes to my email which I have as a username at my dropbox account. How can I skip that?

Hey lityum, before we reach out to you, if you have access to the email associated with your Dropbox account, can you try to reset your password, to see if that bypasses the 6 digit code?
And DIMITRIS4, can you also try the same, to see if that helps?
- DIMITRIS43 years agoExplorer | Level 3I selected âForgot your passwordâ. Then I wrote down my email with with I had create my account but I donât receive any email. I have to tell that I know for sure and I remember my username and password. While I write them it doesnât say that they are false. So they are correct. Please help đ„ș
