Number of devices
My “security” shows 3 devices but my iPad still says there are too many devices connected?

Carried out and all seems to be ok. Thanks.

Hi
I have just purchased a new iPad and a new iPhone and transferred all Apps, including Dropbox from the old devices. I also have Dropbox on my PC.
I have deleted the Apps from the old devices and going to “security” shows my new devices, iPad and iPhone and my PC as linked.
If I open the App on my iPad it says that 3 of 3 devices are linked and below says I have reached my limit and underneath that it says that I have exceeded my limit of linked devices and I need to upgrade or delete one of the devices.
I am on the basic plan.
Confusing!
Hope this helps.

Are you sure it's showing you the new devices and not the old ones? Deleting the app from a device doesn't remove the device from the list of linked devices.
Remove the iPad listed under linked devices and then sign in to the Dropbox app on your new iPad.
