Switched DB account access.

Hello. After a friend sent me a link to a PDF, my account access switched to her credentials on my desktop Windows 10 app.

How do I re-enter/switch to my credentials so things go back to my DB files?

Hi there skfdesign, sorry to hear about this.

I'm not sure how this might have happened. Can you provide some additional information so that we can assist further?

Also, if you'd like to just sign out from an account from the desktop app, you can unlink it through the app's preferences.

    Keep me posted anyhow!

It seems I have access to 2 accounts on my account now. I am signed in under the proper one on the web, but my desktop app shows the alternate/incorrect one. I am worried about it overwriting/deleting my files. We re-installed the DB software but it still shows the alternate account. How to switch to my account? How to disable access to alternate account?

Hi skfdesign, sorry to jump in here!

Have you tried the steps my colleague, Walter provided on his response, in order to unlink the current Dropbox account that the app is using, and then sign in with the one you want?

Also, when you say that you have some trouble getting Dropbox to appear normally in the taskbar, what do you mean? Can you share more info with us?
