Hi elsaaaaaaa! I hope you’re doing well.

Can you please clarify what steps you took to add them as a member, and what steps you took after that to remove them?

Where exactly do you see that they can still access your content?

    Let me know.

    Hello!

    thank you for you answer.

i only wanted to share a folder with someone (and to let her put document in there).

When she tried to access the file, it generated an e-mail to the administrator, who unwittingly added her as a member, thinking it was only for a file.

I asked the administrator to remove her, but the person took a screenshot that show that she still sees the other files...

    thanks you for your help

Thanks for the additional details, Elsa! Did the admin follow these steps to remove her from the team?

If yes, then her Dropbox account should be a personal one again, and she shouldn’t be part of the Business team.

Once her account is personal, you can ask your admin to make sure external sharing is enabled for your team, and you can then share a specific folder with her (without making her a team member again).

It's all in English, I'm not sure I understand everything on the link.
The administrator is Nelson and the external member is Sarah.
Nelson has turned Sarah into an individual account but Sarah still has access to the file.
What more can I do to permanently remove Sarah's access?
Did Sarah have to take any action?

    Thanks!!!

If Nelson has followed the exact steps I sent you above, then she should no longer be part of the team for sure.

Can you send me a screenshot of where it shows that Sarah still has access to the files, so that I can take a look? It’d really help to have a visual.

Does her name show next to all of the team's files, or just the specific folder you intended her to access?

    Thanks!

it's very strange because Nelson deleted her from our membership, and she only appears on the folder I wanted to share with her. however, she sent me the following photo which proves that she has access to everything, she even has a personal file.
in the notice they mention a file transfer to another member, but it wasn't proposed to me, we simply deleted it.
    i'm lost!

Hey elsaaaaaaa, can you ask Sarah to send you a screenshot of what she sees on the Plan page of her account settings?

Also, does she see the same files in her account on dropbox.com, as she does in her local Dropbox folder (the one in the screenshot above)?
