Hi HANDBASHED, I’m sorry to hear about this issue.
It sounds like you're trying to connect a new browser to your Dropbox Passwords account, correct?
If you check your Chrome browser, do you see any notifications from Dropbox Passwords, or nothing shows at all?
If you don’t receive the notification, please turn Dropbox Passwords notifications On, or open Dropbox Passwords on the browser that’s already connected.
Let me know, if this helps at all.

Hello
All notifications are switched on in drop box. I don't see where notifications in chrome are — but button for dropbox passwords is definitely on. Still the same screen shows when I try it.

Hi HANDBASHED, is this the first time you're trying to login to Dropbox Passwords, or have you previously logged in on another device and are now logging in on this device?
- HANDBASHED2 years agoNew member | Level 2I bought a new Mac so perhaps this is the first time trying on this machine. But to be honest I can’t remember! Sorry

The pop up that is mentioned should be on another device that you installed the extension on Chrome, or even the same device on a different computer profile.
If you've never set this up, and never saved any passwords before, please let me know.
