Free team disbanded by Dropbox
Hi Team,
Can someone please help with an email I received as below? Not sure what it all means
The ???? Limited team has been disbanded by Dropbox. Your team’s folders have been converted to shared folders, and all ??? Limited groups have been deleted. Your account has been converted to a personal Dropbox plan.
Reason I ask is that we had a colleague that left our company under bad terms.
Many thanks in advance.

Dropbox hasnt deleted it if it was a free team. It has simply unlinked them from the other account you have. See https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
To get in all you need to do is log on to that account via the website (possibly use an Incognito / private browser window) with the other accounts username and password.

Multiple emails have been sent to every Team owner so not sure where they've gone. This has the info on it https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
And to reset up the Team you need to pay as a Business user from www.dropbox.com/plans OR just use Shared folders instead.

I'm afraid there is no way now to relink the accounts. You need to log in to the account via the email you had or used - and without that there is no way to do it. Dropbox arent able to look up the records I'm afraid as they dont exist.
Have you tried searching emails for no-reply@dropbox.com ? Would somebody else on the Team have it?
- jfjdsa4 years agoNew member | Level 2Hi,
I received an email notification today stating that the Dropbox Team I was in had been disbanded. I was a member, not an administrator, so never received an email alert.
The Dropbox Team had been connected to my personal account which is where my old iPhone had backed up photos. I would like to retrieve these photos, unfortunately the Team was created years ago as part of a university project I was involved in so I no longer have contact with the administrator. How can I retrieve my photos from the Shared Folder that's supposedly been created?? - Mark4 years ago

How do I find the access credentials for my second linked account? These don't seem to have been sent to me. - jfjdsa4 years agoNew member | Level 2Hi Mark -
I've gone back through all my emails, scoured through my Dropbox account and there's nothing mentioning a linked account or how to access it? Could you provide some more detail on how to progress this?
