Getting an error that my password is wrong when trying to set up two-factor authentication

Hello Dropbox Team -

I attempted to set up the 2 Verification Step.  I enter my password, and it says that the password is wrong. No. I did not mistype the password.  (I used the password to enter DropBox so) I know it's the right password, typed correctly. (not auto populated)

Can you please let me know why this could be happening?

I also tried to do this in a different browser, which let me into Dropbox using the same password but when I attempt to setup the 2 Verification step it says it's the wrong password again.  I've not set up any other passwords \`?`/

Your guidance is much appreciated.  Be well.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Yo-1.

Can you reset your password and then try again, to see if that helps?

You can reset it from this page.

Let me know how it goes.

I reset my password not to long ago. I wish we didn't have to keep doing this. Thanks for the quick response and your time.  Have a good one.

        I completely understand, Yo-1.

If the issue comes back again, let us know.

Have a good one as well!
