How do I get managing permission on a shared folder?

Our accountant has access the files I have shared with him but somewhere along the line the his permission level changes to “can edit”. I’ve tried to re- limit his access but I’m getting an error th...

The only person who can alter folder permissions is the Owner. 

 

Who is showing as the 'Owner' of the shared folder? They need to change it.
