I was trying to cancel my plan and I accidentally deleted my account. Can it be restored?

I am currently unable to cancel my plan and am in the payment phase. (Payment has not been made because there is no money in the account.) However, while trying various methods to cancel, I accidentally deleted my account. Is there a way to recover my account or cancel the payment?

    Welcome to our Community, kim2012.

    If you deleted your Dropbox account with these steps, I’m afraid there’s no way it can be recovered. 

    However, if you previously had the desktop app installed, you can double check your local Dropbox folder as your files/folders may still be there.

    Let me know if this is what happened or if you tried something else.

      Hello, I need help!

      1. I tried to cancel my plan, but I couldn't, so I received a payment text message.
      2. However, I can't make the payment because there is no money in my account.
      3. So, while trying to cancel, I accidentally deleted my account! ..
      4. I want to cancel my plan and cancel the payment or restore the account that the plan was applied to. The deleted account is the same as my current email.

        Just to be clear, you're no longer able to sign in to the account, correct?

        If the account is truly deleted then you wouldn't be able to sign in to it, and there were be nothing to cancel anymore. Also, unfortunately, once an account has been deleted it can no longer be restored.

        Try to sign in to the account again to make sure it truly is deleted.
