Lost access - not good... but if we can't access the data, we need to get the account deleted.

We have an old DropBox account, migrated to a new DropBox set up somewhile ago. There may be some lingering folders/files that were not migrated. These are not important, even though good governance says we should review them before deleting them for good.

Here is the problem. The 2FA that was actively used when the account was in daily use has now been lost, and the emergency codes are not anywhere to be found. I understand that DropBox will not help us to regain access. I appreciate the reasons for this (even though I don't agree with them). We now need this account to be permanently deleted and before contacting support, I wonder if there is any guidance or experience from the community. I am expecting to have an uphill battle getting this deleted. Hopefully I am proved wrong.

    Hi EnEm1

How long ago did you last log in?

If it was over 12 months this will have happened automatically due to the inactivity clauses.
