Hi all! I have worked at a company that used Dropbox to share folders. I had to send my email at the start to enter all folders. When I stopped working, they removed my access to all folders but a...

3 years agoHey Noorkrever, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
If the admin of the Dropbox Business team you were a part of, deleted you from the team and used the option to transfer your files to another member's account, there's not much you can do on your end, I'm afraid.
The member that now has access to your files, will need to share them with you, for you to regain access to them.
Once you have access to them, they can delete them from their Dropbox.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @Hannah!
Thank you for your fast help! I will tell the other member to share my private folders with me again.
The only thing I don’t understand is HOW is it possible that a business admin can share my PRIVATE folders with another member. Those files existed way before I entered the shared Dropbox… looks like a big issue for me?- Hannah3 years ago

I understand what you mean. The thing is by joining the team with your personal account, you basically agreed to have your files accessible to the team.
But the team admin should have gone about this a bit differently.
They should have removed you from the team, by converting your account back to an individual one.
That way, you would have kept the account and all your personal files and only the team files would have been removed.
I hope this clarifies things, but we do appreciate your feedback.
Thank you!
