Reseting password needed but no access to the email address
Hi,
Dropbox forced me to reset the password but I cannot currently log in to the linked email to do so. The old password is not working to change the email address there via desktop where I am still logged in.
Old password not working to change the email address and email address not working to reset a new password. Endless circle.
Can anyone help, please?
I also contacted my mail provider, but the email address has been stolen and I am not sure, how much they may help.
Thank for any suggestion that helps.

As you are logged in and have access to the files the easiest (and quickest) thing to do is just set up a new account and move everything to that.
Otherwise you can TRY and ask for help, but, without access to the email you may struggle: www.dropbox.com/support while NOT logged in.

The thing is that I have many free GBs on this account so that creating a new one is not exactly what is the fuss about 😕
I also tried to change the password directly through the web browser and it is not working. It does nothing.

The only people who can help are Dropbox support: www.dropbox.com/support. If you are a free user you need to make sure you are not logged in, even to here. An incognito window may help

Not sure what I am looking for when not signed in (new browser, anonymous window). I cannot see any email or direct link to support, anyway.

I have my dropbox, which I pay for every month DKK 99
I have forgotten my password for the email itself, so I cannot log in to the email called [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines] as it has been closed due to a forgotten password. I have created a new email that I would like to change to - Mark2 years ago

Are you able to log in to Dropbox? If so have you tried changing it via www.dropbox.com/account ?
