Trying to update my account email
Hi All,
I am trying to update the personal email on my dropbox account to another email I hold. When doing so it tells me that the email address is already in use. I'm confident I never set it up with this one. When I go through the process of saying I forgot password on the new email adress I don't receive a reset link to spam or anywhere which suggests it wasn't ever setup.
Any ideas?

Thanks for posting here, @Adam325!
If you're still receiving this message on your end, it means that this email address is tied to a different Dropbox account, indeed.
Can you please open an incognito window on your web browser/another browser on your computer, try to access www.dropbox.com with the new email address and reset your password from there? Do you receive something now perhaps to your inbox/spam folder?
Also, if you search for Dropbox emails, after logging in to that email address, do you see any results?
Let me know what you find.
