Unable to receive verification codes
Hi,
We have 3 dropbox accounts that are used for EWA. One of them which is ... has 2FA switched on. This should send a code to that email however we are not receiving this so I've had to use this account to raise this. We have the 3 account email addresses added as aliases to our global admin 365 email. I'm able to email the ... email and see this email in the inbox instantly. Email isn't being blocked as nothing is being seen on a message trace and I have tried a different browser to sign into Dropbox. I don't think this account is used too often but one of the users at EWA are asking if they can receive the codes instead so they can manage who's trying to access the account. Best email to get me on is ... and for reference we do the IT support for EWA.
Thanks

Welcome to our Community, EWA Archive!
Can you please clarify what you mean when saying that you set two-step verification to send you codes to a specific email address? In general, when setting up 2FA on Dropbox, you can receive verification codes either via text message, or an authenticator app/security key.
Are you being prompted to enter a 6-digit one-time code perhaps upon signing in to Dropbox? Feel free to send me a screenshot of what you see (just make sure to hide any personal info, like email addresses).
Let me know when you’re ready.

Hi Nancy. Here is a photo of what we are being prompted with when trying to sign in with that specific account.
Thanks

Thanks for the screenshot! It looks like you’re receiving the one-time security code indeed.
Just to make sure we’ve checked everything, can you please double check the spam folder of that email address and also, add no-reply@dropbox.com to its email contacts?
Are you receiving anything after that?

Hi Nancy,
I've tried that and unfortunately still had no code. Sorry should've mentioned I'd already tried this earlier.
Thanks
