    Thanks for using Dropbox and helping test our beta build!  Here are the user visible changes in v55:
     
    Here are the specific changes for v55.3.168:
    • Fixes issue where unlinking a secondary account wouldn’t work unless Dropbox was restarted. This issue was specific to the v55 beta, and did not appear in v54.
     
    v55 Release Notes
    • Fixes issue where linking an account in headless mode on Linux would exit early.
    • Fixes issue where importing high efficiency photos could fail on recent macOS releases.
    • Fixes an issue where “Don’t ask me again” on warning dialogs was not working properly in some cases.
    • Other minor fixes.

    Yes. However when I start Dropbox (with Finder integration disabled) I see the Dropbox Finder menu item appear, disappear and then reappear anyway. Startup is stuck both with integration disabled and enabled.

    This might be worth trying. Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy. Click on the Privacy tab and select Accessibility from the list on the left pane. Unlock the padlock. See if Dropbox is on the list on the right pane.

    If Dropbox is already there, remove it and then add it back, in case the link was broken. Close, restart. Good luck.

    I installed the latest beta since and it works just fine. Also, on my other Mac with Mojave the previos verison worked as well. So this must have been a temporary glitch specific to my system. Thank you!
