8 years agoriwamoto Thanks for the report! We've seen an increase in startup time for a small number of Windows users with large Dropboxes, and we're investigating it.
riwamoto TrevorFox To help our investigation, do you think you can download v51.4.66 and see if the problem with Dropbox saying it's "Starting..." for a long time goes away?

You don't need to uninstall Dropbox first, just install it from the link above and let it run.

I tried that .... and .. sadly ... it is still starting. Until it simply ends.

Sadly, after the first few starts, it appears the situation has regressed again. Although the version is still 51.4.66, it is stuck at "starting". For reference, I am using 850/1000GB.
