Hey Caleb7 and welcome to the Dropbox Community! I’m Theresa, one of the community managers here.
Just thought I’d share a few quick tips that might help your team get the most out of shared folders and permissions on Dropbox Business:
📁 Keep your folder structure simple - the less people have to think, the better.
🔑 Go with the “only give what’s needed” rule when setting permissions. Keeps things tidy and secure.
🛡️ If you’re working with folks outside your team, password-protect those links and add expiry dates (makes life easier and keeps files safe).
👩💻👨💻 Using groups for permissions. One update, and everyone's sorted.
📁🔗 And finally, a quick reminder: sharing a folder isn’t the same as sharing a link. It's easy to mix up, but it can save a bit of confusion down the line.
If you have a question about any of these features just tag me and I will get back to you.
