Plans to Support Volume License and O365 Business Basic Users?

Are there any plans to expand support to Office Volume License Users and O365 Business Basic users?

We have a number of lab machines that are volume licensed and a number of freelances that are assigned O365 Basic accounts that would like to take advantage of this feature set.

    Hi fkick,

Great question! Online co-authoring is available for these license types, but Desktop co-authoring isn't. In the end, it's Microsoft's decision to allow co-authoring with those license types, so we can't say whether there are plans to expand Desktop co-authoring.

    Thanks,

    Ben

Thanks for confirming that this is an MS limitation and not a Dropbox limitation. Hopefully they'll open it up one day.
