Dropbox Update / Installationsproblem (unter Win7 ultimate)

Hallo zusammen,   folgendes Problem: ich habe heute morgen meinen Rechner gestartet und es ist sufort ein Hinweis von Dropbox aufgepoppt, daß ich die neueste Version installieren müsse oder DB so...

Danke für die Info ganjalf, ich habe auch mittlerweile Kontakt mit dem Support. Ich warte erst mal ab, was die zu sagen haben, im Moment wird es schon zu second level eskaliert, es scheint also spannend zu werden :-)

 

Seltsam ist schon mal, daß ich unter c:/programme bzw. c:/programmex86 gar keine Dropbox.exe habe, was ja üblich wäre laut Support.

Kleiner Tipp: Meine Dropbox.exe ist unter C:\Users\Ganjalf\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin

    ja, habs an der Stelle bei mir dann auch gefunden. Wäre ja auch seltsam, wenn es gar keine dropbox.exe gäbe :-)

      Update: der 2nd Level Support hat mich jetzt um eine Deinstallation / Neuinstallation mit Registry aufräumen gebeten. Hat leider nix gebracht, selber Fehler beim Installationsversuch. Es bleibt spannend.
