One month down in 2025: How are your resolutions coming along? Check out how to get back on track here.
Hi,
I use dropbox mostly for citizen science research for ongoing chronic illnesses. I am collating publicly available files using the original file name. The research journal articles I come across online are then sorted into my dropbox account into folders as I categorise them. When using a browser on my PC to look through my Dropbox folder of journal articles, I aim to reduce the amount of time it takes relocate the files I wish to use. Browsing the files on a browser is difficult and takes a lot of time to open the document to view them, as the large grid mode is not large enough to properly view the document. It would be good if the files data could be automatically extracted from the document and added to the information in the details pane so the info is provided in a format that is easily able to be viewed and is attached to the documents file.
Being an individual with an ongoing chronic illness, generally multiple daily routine tasks that normally take the average person not long to accomplish, will require up to 5 - 10 times longer to accomplish depending on the ups and downs of relapses associated to this disease. This puts people like myself at a distinct disadvantage, we are impacted severely by our disabilities and constantly seeking out the means to make our life more productive, without worsening or impacting on our reduced capabilities.
