Give us the ability to create .txt files on the Dropbox website.

Simple editor for TXT files.

I can only read TXT files (web and mobile app), but I would like to make new TXT fle directly on web or mobile app and edit it there.

Yes, we can make DOCX or XLSX files there, but TXT file has a lot of advantages.

For example: 
- No text formatting
- No paging
- No checking and repairing text
- Multiplatform
- No automatic break text into lines
- May contain unchanged parts of codes and commands
- The master of the format and content of the text is the one who writes it

    I am sorry. I can edit TXT file everywere. I can add new Text file in iOS mobile application. I can not add new Text file .TXT on Dropbox webpage. I would like to modify this ticket, but I can not do it.

    Only option for create new .txt file.

    So, you're not able to edit .txt files' you've already uploaded to your Dropbox account on a web browser kissarmy1? Or you're just looking for the option to create new .txt files on the website?

    Hi, I am sorry. Mobile app (iOS) hs included this feature for TXT files now. This the same feature I would like to have in web application. I would like to write text to txt files directly on Dropbox webpage application.

    Just to clarify, are you able to create and edit .txt files via the Dropbox mobile app normally and you'd like to see the same option on the website as well?

    Also, are you able to edit your .txt files on the website?
