Have list view as default when viewing files and folders via shared link
When a link to a folder that's shared from the contextual menu on macOS is viewed in the browser by somebody who does not have an account with Dropbox, folders and files are not displayed in list view, so (a) file names are trunkated and (b) more scrolling is to do.
To combat those 2 disadvantages it would be an idea to have list view as default. Then less scrolling would have to be done and the file names are better to read because more characters would display.
The average user may not see the (a) very little and (b) quite pale list view option icon which is (c) placed far away, top right.
Please try this yourself when not being logged into your account. See example here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f6s4xzhe6hmicbo/Screenshot%202017-04-27%2003.52.29.png?dl=0

Couldn't agree more.
At a minimum, it would be wonderful if you make it so that we can include a variable in the link which determines the default share state.
e.g.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/edcba/AACW1EnE9sDmL7Xjr9jx0rWwa?dl=0&view=grid

Actually, this exists! There's 2 ways to accomplish this. Either simply add &lst= to the end of your Dropbox URL. So the above example looks like:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/edcba/AACW1EnE9sDmL7Xjr9jx0rWwa?dl=0&lst=
Or go to your Dropbox URL, click the list view icon and then copy the new URL at the top (which now includes the &lst= )
Now... my request is that there's a way to set list view as the default for when I right-click my local copy and select Copy Dropbox Link.

It looks like the original suggestion was implemented—list view now appears to be the default. But... what about when you're sharing photos and you want the blocky grid view by default?
Please (re)consider adding a query string parameter, as suggested in other comments.
