Notification/warning when closing a locked file

My idea is about locked files and the problem that people forget to unlock it after they're done working in it.

To avoid that people forget to unlock a file after they close it, it would be nice that you get a warning about the file still being locked when you close it. (in the same way an application asks you if you want to save changes before closing it)

This notification would avoid the problem that a file stays locked for hours or days without reason, just because someone forgot to unlock it.

Thank you Walter for opening the idea. I know there are workarounds, but I think the notification would really solve the problem much easier and faster in most of the cases.

(e.g. the button to ask someone to unlock the file is a great feature, technically much more complicated I think than a notification ;-). It proves what a great job the Dropbox-developers do, but most of the time it wouldn't be necessary to use it - and having to wait for a reaction - if the coworker didn't forget to unlock the file in the first place ;-))
