Personal plans with more storage
Hi! I used to have a paid personal Dropbox account, until I outgrew the 3TB of storage space. I downgraded to a free Dropbox account and started storing my files with a different provider. As a renewal of my subscription with this other provider is coming up mid-June, I was wondering if you are planning on implementing larger personal plans in the future? Ideally I'd love a package that has somewhere between 6 to 8TB.
Switching to a professional account is not an option, because:
- I already use a professional account from the company I work for, you can only use 1 personal and 1 professional account in the Dropbox software at the same time, and I don't want to upload my personal files to my company's account
- a professional account requires several licenses (3, I believe), while I only need 1
Therefore, I would like to suggest to implement the option to purchase a larger personal plan with more storage space than the current 3TB (of course the plan with 3TB should still exist for users who don't need more than 3TB).

I'm on the Pro plan and I'm close to running out of space. It looks like I'll have to delete some files, which will be time consuming.
I would much rather pay for more storage, but jumping from $20/month for Pro to $54/month for Business Standard is too much.
How much extra storage could I get for $5 or $10/month?

Hi,
I'd like to suggest you create a tier for individual professionals to be able to take advantage of the 5TB storage option without having to add 2 other team members.
Thanks.

YOU NEED TO CREATE A PLAN WITH MORE STORAGE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL. I DO NOT HAVE A FREAKING TEAM. I JUST NEED MORE STORAGE.

Hello
I would suggest to Dropbox to have an other proposal for photographer that work without team.
To have an access to 16To storage for them files.
It would be great!
But, I think I am gonna buy a NAS anyway... Actually I was looking for to use dropbox, the proposal doesn't help me...

When will Dropbox gives us more storage? I'm ready to pay a lot more, I need something like 30TB.
I've looked at Dropbox competitors who might offer more space but are not as good, fast and simple as Dropbox.
So I'd like to stay with Dropbox and pay a lot more for a lot more storage (even if I need to pay 100+ a month).
Because I'm planning on upgrading to a Macbook Pro with a maxed out 8TB hard drive on it + I'd like to able to upload a couple of Carbon Copy Cleaner snapshot backups on the cloud as well , so that's a minimum of 16-24TB to keep my mind in peace and have all my data safely synced there on Dropbox. So overall 30TB would be ideal to include some extra remote storage space just in case.

I'm a video editor with >5TB of raw footage that I'd like to backup on a cloud, preferably Dropbox. However, the only way to get a Business Unlimited account is to pay ~$1000 CAD for 3 licenses of the account, plus more if you go over 5TB. I would go for this option if I didn't have to pay for 2 Licenses I didn't need. Now instead, I'm building out a NAS that can handle the volume, and although its in the long run cheaper I'd still love to use DB for my needs but there doesn't seem to be an adequate plan.

To repeat what I said... I didn't suggest lowering prices, etc. I simply suggested that the pricing structure be made more clear such that I know that I can get a 10T account for example and how much it would be. My suggestion, I suppose, would be to make the features more à la carte.

I'm a solo business owner. I would love the option for the larger storage cap, but don't need multiple licenses.

I don't want to switch out of dropbox
I am a single user and about to max out the 3TB i pay for.
I CANNOT buy more space.
Now i have to either switch to onedrive, or pay for 3 users of dropbox advanced. totaling 6x the price.
I want to pay for Dropbox advanced SINGLE user.
