One month down in 2025: How are your resolutions coming along? Check out how to get back on track here.
Hello all,
I have a feature request, and I'm hoping many others would agree with this so it can get implemented:
The Dropbox app on my phone has become my new defacto method of digitizing paper. I use the scan feature and send it into a dump folder I've created for me to organize from there. (I am in the middle of digitizing my old huge useless filing cabinet.)
SO.....
After I scan a file with the scanning feature of the mobile Dropbox app, I want to save it to this dump folder - the default file name is: YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS + file extension (png or pdf). Okay, that makes sense. EXCEPT when I tap this default file name to change it, it spits the cursor to the end of the filename, requiring me to delete each character all the way to the beginning before I can enter my new name. Is there any way we can make it so that the whole date stamp string is highlighted so that I can just start typing in order to rename the file??!
You can imaging how much time that would save if you have to scan thousands of documents.
Does anyone else want this feature?
