Hi Dropbox. I know this is a community post, but I hope Dropbox listens in as well.

Could you please stop harrassing me about my account "approaching storage limit"?

1. I'm using 7.89 GB of 9 GB. That's over 1 GB of free space. Plenty. And off cause I'm not keeping half the Dropbox empty, that would be stupid.

2. You're constantly telling me this, on the mobile app, the web app and the Windows app. Again and again. For years. I know what happens if my Dropbox gets full. It's not a big deal, other than I needs telling when it's actually full so I can clean up (usually my Camera Uploads-folder), and then every device syncs again. Easy peasy.

3. No matter how many times you present me with a link to "Upgrade now", I'm not gonna buy more space before strongly considering my options. I know I might not be like most users or at least some user. So you're not losing out on any business by removing the banner at least for me (and others like me).

Please add an option to disable any and all notifications about "approaching storage limit" on mail, web site banners, popups, apps etc. I only want to know when it is actually full. Or add an option for setting the limit for WHEN you should warn me. Then I'd set this to 100 MB before actually full. Either would be great.

I hope you will consider this

That's great, thanks Hannah! Looking forward to a change in politics on this point As noted, do tell me once or maybe a couple times, but let me disable it after a while Will there be any feedback to this forum post from your team?

Best regards,

SvendK
