    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to delete my Dropbox account. I only got it to receive a client file and it didnt work. It says I'm on a basic account but I had to put in my credit card details.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;When I try to delete the account it says:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please note that deleting your account is&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;permanent&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;and will cause&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;all of your files to be deleted from the Dropbox website&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;and online servers.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;All of your files will also stop syncing across all devices.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Once you’ve made sure you have a copy of your files saved somewhere other than Dropbox, go to&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Manage subscriptions&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;and cancel any active subscriptions. Then return here or refresh this page to confirm you’d like to delete your account.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
