topic Access to Dropbox for multiple users in Security and Permissions

I still have access to an organisation's Dropbox Plus. I resigned from my role 3 years ago and handed over access etc. I still have an active copy of the Dropbox Plus account and can see all files and activity on my Laptop but successfully deleted access from my desktop and phone. The secretary who took over has the account and manages the 5 users. My cancelling of access caused a massive issue of deleted files which I had to restore for the new secretaryand have not accessed until now the Dropbox account which is still on my laptop. I am not an authorised user and do not pay any monies to Dropbox but I could change or delete any file in this account.

Recently, the new president of this organisation was to be added to users. She used the generic email address for the President. A name came up for this person who has never operated or accessed the Dropbox account which was established well after her term of office was concluded- more than two years. I established the Dropbox accounts around 2015 and the new folders and transferred all the previous files.

We are of course very concerned about this and seek your assistance from an 'expert' as what may have occurred. I have used name of teh owner of the account which was the name of the owner of the account when it was established.

Hi @Secretary WGGC, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify if the account is for a Dropbox Plus or a Dropbox Business team? Personal accounts cannot have multiple users on it.

What do you mean when you say you cancelled access? Did you delete the account, or users, or something else?

Is the name you're seeing an email address, or the name on the account, which can be changed easily from here?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
