    <description>We highly recommend using an SDK, but if you don't want to use one, you can download a file via the /2/files/download API v2 HTTPS endpoint directly:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-download" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-download&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There's a curl example included in the documentation there that shows how the API v2 call should be made. You should use that to write the relevant code for whatever HTTP client&amp;nbsp;you're using.</description>
