Hi @cloudlock,

First of all, keep in mind that path is a path to target file, not path to containing folder. If by any chance that folder exists, you have instructed Dropbox to overwrite folder with file - something impossible. Another reason could be that just on the pointed path (on place of some folder) there is a file already that cannot be transformed to folder, of course. Check this.

Good luck.

Hi team,
when using copy_reference/get as admin user I get the copy_reference field of a file R and it works well.
when trying to copy_reference/save R to a path P I get an error of:
'{"error_summary": "not_found/", "error": {".tag": "not_found"}}' 409 Conflict

the error summary is not elaborate enough for me as I don't under what is not found

1. is it the target path P? I tried api explorer and it looks like it creates missing path on the fly
2. is it the ref R? because get did worked
3. what could possibly be the use case in this scenario when a file is gettable but not savable?
4. could it be a permission issue?
5. is there an API call i can use to verify my dropbox user has sufficient permissions to perform that save?

Thank you team,
Appreciate your help

@cloudlock Also, make sure the original file/folder still exists at the time of the save call. Otherwise, if this still isn't working for you, please open an API ticket with the following details so we can check on this specifically for you:

the affected app ID

the affected account ID

a sample of the full request and response for both calls; please include the parameter values but redact the access token

Thanks!
