topic App Lifecycle in Dropbox API Support & Feedback

Few questions clarifying the lifecycle of an app:
1) What happens if you change the folder name in App Console? Does it automatically change in everyones Dropbox (and every synced device)?
2) What happens if you remove an app from production? Does it remove the folder or files stay until user deletes it?

1) If you change the app folder name via the App Console, new users will get the new app folder name, but existing users will keep their existing app folder name.

2) It's not currently possible from your side to move an app from production to development. Do you mean what happens if you disable an app that is in production mode? In that case, any API calls made for the app will fail, but existing files in user accounts will not be affected.
