When you say "the official v2 API release," I assume you're actually referring to some version of SwiftyDropbox? A helpful detail would be which version of the library you were able to get working and which didn't work.

If you could also share the error you encountered and the details you've learned from your own debugging, that would be helpful to us and others who might run into issues.

v2 of SwiftyDropbox is great. Prior to the official api release this week, it worked on TVos with a recent-isa version of Alamofire. Downloading files to memory- no problem.

The official v2 api release appears to have broken downloads on TVos. Based on some debugging, I'm thinking it's the recent Alamofire changes- but that might be a red herring. I'll post an update as I sort through it.

So, when can we expect a [minimally] supported of SwiftDropbox for TVos?

Ah. Looks like although the v2 api (I guess thats really the http layer) is out of beta, the SwiftyDropbox code is not. My bad.

I picked up a commit late last week (I think) that worked on TVos. Ryan's 0.7 commit on Monday which targeted 'better uploads/downloads' seems to have broken downloads.

Methinks I have a rock on one side of me- and a hard place on the other... I like the uploads from a file on IOS), but also like a working TVos version. I think I will try using different releases for each platform (as I don't upload from TVos) and don't download (except to memory) on IOS.
