      <title>Programmatically download someone's shared file?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm writing an app that needs to be able to download files shared by other users (via a URL, with user's consent).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now I know by default the URL contains "dl=0" part which prevents automated DL, and I can rewrite it to "dl=1" and fetch&amp;nbsp;the file. But is that the right and legal way to go?&amp;nbsp;Is&amp;nbsp;this a supported mechanism that will remain supported&amp;nbsp;or are there plans to change/disable it? We&amp;nbsp;wouldn't want to be surprised&amp;nbsp;some&amp;nbsp;day that&amp;nbsp;there is no longer a "dl=1" parameter, that would be kind of a panic situation...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
