    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;No, unfortunately Dropbox doesn't offer the ability to run custom operations directly on Dropbox itself like this.&amp;nbsp;If you need access to the file data to run a tool on it, you'd need to download the file data first.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'll pass this along as a feature request, but I can't promise if or when that might be implemented.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Running a script (Exiftool) on server containing video files</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would like to automaticaly extract metadata from videos in a folder using exiftool. Exiftool requires the videos to be downloaded; however, I have over 1 TB of videos. Would it therefore be possible to run a script directly on the server containing the video files ? I looked over the API and I haven't found any way to do so.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
