Does anyone have any history using the family plan. Is it easy to use for non-technical (very non-technical) members of a family. And if it doesn't work out is it possible to simply revert to my current plan without losing any data?

Hi @SACubFan, happy Monday!

In regards to the first question, I'm going to let the other users of this Community speak on that and share their thoughts and opinions.

It generally depends on the knowledge each member has. However, it's like any other individual plan.

Now onto the second question of yours. If you need to revert back to your previous plan, all you'd have to do is cancel your Family plan, wait for it to downgrade and then re-upgrade purchasing the plan of your choice.

I hope this clarifies!
