I share files and therefore our master Dropbox account with many employees worldwide and I can't be sending codes anytime someone wants to log in at 3am.

What you're doing is against the Terms and could result in the account (and all data) being deleted. A Dropbox account is intended for a single individual and should not be shared. If you need to share files, the intent is that each person has their own Dropbox account and you invite everyone to a shared folder.

This feature should be optional. Is there a way to disable it permanently? This isn't 2fa, it's just a code that is sent unnecessarily disrupting our flow.

This is a security precaution and cannot be disabled. And you're correct. This isn't from the normal two-step verification that you can enable on your account. Dropbox sends these one-time security codes when they detect a suspicious sign in attempt, and since you're sharing an account with other people around the world, having sign in attempts to a single account from around the world probably looks pretty suspicious.

It has been difficult to continue using Dropbox as it started to ask for a login code sent to my e-mail. I share files and therefore our master Dropbox account with many employees worldwide and I can't be sending codes anytime someone wants to log in at 3am. This feature should be optional. Is there a way to disable it permanently? This isn't 2fa, it's just a code that is sent unnecessarily disrupting our flow.
