&lt;P&gt;You can ask their admin to convert your account back to a personal account away from the team, by having them follow &lt;A href="https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/convert-to-individual" target="_blank"&gt;these steps&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once on a personal account, you can keep it as is, or move it to another account if need be.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>How can I export my Dropbox folder in a team to a new Dropbox account?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Everyone- I had my own Dropbox account with my work files.&amp;nbsp; Another company that I am affiliated with invited me to their Dropbox and when I accepted the invitation, it converted MY Dropbox account with theirs.&amp;nbsp; I was able to still access my files, but under their Dropbox.&amp;nbsp; That company is now closing and I want to export my folder to a new Dropbox account.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do I need their admin to do that?&amp;nbsp; What are the steps involved?&lt;/P&gt;
