Oh 😞

Any idea if there's a way to embed the Dropbox preview?

Cheers

Ben

No, unfortunately shared links don't have a supported way to get the preview data, like there is for the raw data. (If you're developing an app though it's available via the Core API: https://www.dropbox.com/developers/core/docs#previews )

OK 😞

No, I'm just trying to easily share views of files in a GoogleSite without using GoogleDocs.

This is so aggravating. Why can't user choose to embed the data the way he likes, where he likes and the easy way, like in google drive. I have been searching for this very long time. I don't understand what's the big deal ?

You can make the folder public and then use www.embedresponsively.com.

You can build powerful dropbox powered multi folder photo galleries to embed in your websites using http://galleryembed.com

A gallery widget to embed a folder of images from dropbox into a website would be exceptional!

I'd upgrade to business or pay additional if required because it would be extremely handy!

Basically being able to grab an embed code that creates a thumbnail gallery of all images in a folder.

This reply was 3 years ago, surely there has been embedability implemented now?
