Explorer | Level 4

Hello
Can anyone reply me asap. I am using dropbox api v2. It was working fine previously but after 9th of june any file/folder that I am creating/uploading on dropbox are not fetching by api.I am using listfolder and listfolder continue api calls. using property "include_media_info:true".
It's been two days no new files/folder are fetching.

More people are having this issue. You can find the main thread here:
https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/API-support/listFolder-with-includeMediaInfo-not-listing-all-availab...
(and click on the Me too button in that thread)

I guess that your other topic is about the same issue as well?

If you're seeing significant delays like this when using include_media_info=true, please open an API ticket with the affected user ID(s) so we can look into it:

Thanks in advance!

Thank you. Yes, both are the same issue as I am tired of fetching new files from dropbox I have posted twice to get response asap. Still it's been two days I am unable to fetch new files/folder (Created after 9th of june 4pm). Do you have any idea what's the problem? are you facing same issue ?

Thank @Greg. Can I get an estimate? as I am getting so many customer complaints about their files not showing up since friday. I have created 1 Test folder with 10kb image file which is also not syncing by using list_folder/continue api v2 call.

Hi @Greg Somehow I managed to get change set using list_folder api v2 call by setting property include_media_info=false. Can you please guide me what is the difference between include_media_info=true and include_media_info=false ?
As I believe include_media_info=true this return image/video properties like file size and others.

It looks like we should be able to get this fixed today. I'll follow up here once I have an update.

For reference, it is expected that this issue occurs only when include_media_info=true. You can find more information on the include_media_info parameter in the documentation:

https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-list_folder

Media information can include dimensions, location, and time_taken for photos, and dimensions, location, time_taken, and duration for videos. File size is not part of media information, and is included regardless of the include_media_info parameter.

The team worked on a fix, but unfortunately it looks like it will take a little longer to get deployed than originally anticipated. The fix should be live tomorrow.
