Accounts, out of space, online and desktop

I have a paid business account, and when my assistant adds any document to the online dropbox it says out of space to please upgrade? But from the main desktop app we can add folders and upload documents and there it shows space... then the document or foldershows up on the online accout with in 10 minutes.. WHY?? I need to be able to upload from any computer anytime. Please help 


Then on a shared folder it is saying out of space as well to please upgrade?

Hey there @DanielleREAX, could you post a screenshot of the problem so that I can get a better understanding of the matter at hand? 

If this in regards to a shared folder, note that your Dropbox quota is calculated based on the total contents of your Dropbox, which includes shared .... A Dropbox account can't sync more than its quota, so a 2 GB account can't sync more than 2 GB, including the space taken up by shared folders. Because every member of a shared folder can add and modify the files in the shared folder, the shared folder takes up space in each member's account. This policy exists to prevent people from giving themselves unlimited space by stacking Basic accounts and shared folders.

If you'd like to share a folder without impacting the recipient's quota, you can share a link to the folder, instead. A shared link allows users to view or download a one-way, read-only copy of the folder:

If you'd like others to upload files to your Dropbox account without impacting the submitters quota, you can send a file request. Our file requests feature enables a requester to have files uploaded to their Dropbox account by other individuals:

In any case, I'll wait for the screenshot to further advise in case I'm on the wrong track here.
