Constant 'Full' warning, although I have cleared space!

Recently I received a 'Your Dropbox is full' warning because I forgot to empty my Deleted Files. Why they are being kept for 30 days is anyhow a mystery to me...
Today I received an email stating "Hi xxxxx, Your Dropbox is full and is no longer syncing files. New files added to your Dropbox folder won't be accessible on your other devices and won't be backed up online." I'm sure there should be space, but I cannot check my current storage volume! Why? Because when I follow the link "How much space is left in my Dropbox account? The fastest way to check how much space you have left in your Dropbox is from the Account section of dropbox.com: Personal Dropbox: Check my available storage all I get it a 404-error page. Oh, such great functionality!
At a loss (and with an empty bank account).
Do I have to move to Google storage? (I hate all things Google).

You've missed the point of Deleted items @dare2go - because they dont use quota at all. They are just a way to restore things accidentally deleted and have no impact at all upon your used space.

 

So, if you are out of space you need to delete files you see at www.dropbox.com/home - deleting deleted files will do nothing.

 

You can see your quota at www.dropbox.com/account
