Having two accounts on a home network

New member | Level 2

I am Mac based and have two iMacs using the same modem. I currently have the same Dropbox account on both iMacs, but would like to change one of them to a different account.

When I go into Dropbox settings to unlink the iMac on which I want to change the Dropbox, it lists the IP address being used by both iMacs and does not give me an option to unlink, although it does for other devices like the iPhone and iPad.

Appreciate any advice you can offer.

Do you have the dropbox app?  If you don't, you should download it and open it.  Open the dropbox menu from the menu bar (dropbox logo at the top of screen), click on the gear, and then open the accounts tab.

Then you should click "unlink".
