How can I protect my account after being hacked?

New member | Level 2

I believe that my iPad was remotely hacked yesterday, and I should like to protect my Dropbox folders from intrusion. I have changed my password, but it is still possible to access Dropbox without entering a password, so I still feel vulnerable. Can someone please help me?

Hi there @Janet_T

I'd be more than happy to help.

First off, awesome work on changing your password! In general, if you feel that your account may have been hacked, the first action to take is to reset your password.

From there, if you think that your account was at any point in time hacked, I'd recommend checking this article out for some additional ideas.

Finally, if you don't want your mobile app to be signed in to your account, you can sign out when you don't need to use it and back in again when you do.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions!
