I want to switch to a plus plan from a professional plan but it won't allow me to?

I started a free trial for the individual professional plan. I would like to switch to the individual plus plan instead. When I go to the relevant page ( and I click on the "Switch Plan" button it takes me back to my subscription details page without switching the plan from Professional to Plus. 

I was thinking of cancelling my current trial version of the professional plan and then starting a trial with the plus plan but I am concerned that I won't be able to start a new free trial with the plus plan as I already started one with the professional plan.

Hey there @andrewmc147 - welcome to our Community. 

From what I understand you're currently on a Dropbox Professional trial and you'd like to switch to the Plus plan to try it out without getting charged for it - please correct me if I'm wrong. 

Allow me to clarify that this won't be possible as we can only offer you the opportunity for a trial once (you could use another account to trial the Plus plan if needed).

Also note that if you cancel your trial before your trial ends, or if you have already used the product before, you will no longer have the option to start another trial.

At this point, if you'd like to switch to the Plus plan, you'll need to cancel your ongoing Professional trial and then purchase the plan you'd like to have moving forward from our plans page:
