Working with multiple clients

Level 2

Googmorning, I hope you can help me. I work with multiple clients and shared folders and files.

One client has multiple folders and files that are not only shared with me but also with other people. Some only with me, some with 2 some with 3 people.

What happens when I create a folder named "Client A" and put all thes files with different shared rights in it.

Actually I would like to create a list with folders named "Client A" and "Client B" and put all the different folders and files of this client in it. Is this possible when it contains folders and files which are not all shared with the same people?

Hope to hear from you.

Hi Maaike, you can move the shared folders into a parent folder, like you mentioned.

Client A, and then all the shared folders related to that client. Note that you can’t merge all the shared folders into a giant shared folder, so you’ll have separate subfolders for Client A (say a folder with you alone, a second folder with 2 other people, and a third with 5 people in total).

You can continue this with your other clients, and this way you’ll be able to organize your file structure. The client won’t see the changes on their end either, so it won’t affect their business.

In fact, this structure can be seen on this page, the bottom right image.

Let me know if you require any further assistance!
